Super Food Trail Mix
What you'll need:
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 1 cup Almonds
  • 1 cup Dried Fruit (such as chopped Pineapple, Blueberries, Cranberries)
  • 1/2 cup Goji Berries
  • 1/2 cup raw Mulberries
  • 1/2 cup Deglet Dates, pitted and diced
  • 2 tbsp Hemp Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom (optional)
  • pinch Cayenne (optional)

How to make it:

Super Food Trail Mix Recipe

  • 1. Dehydrate your preferred fruit in an Excalibur Dehydrator
  • 2. Soak the walnuts and almonds for one hour
  • 3. Drain and rinse well
  • 4. Chop into chunks or small pieces
  • 5. Spread chopped nuts onto Excalibur Dehydrator trays
  • 6. Dehydrate at 145 degrees F for 2 hours or until dry and crunchy
  • 7. Place the nuts and remaining ingredients into a plastic bag
  • 8. Shake vigorously for one minute
  • 9. Store in an air tight glass jar or container at room temperature or in the refrigerator
