Dehydrated tomatoes will be firmer than the ones you buy at the store. Be sure to dry them enough, don't leave them too soft or else they will spoil.

Cut grape tomatoes in half, lengthwise.
Place on drying trays. Load into your Excalibur. Dry at 130F.
Dry for 20 to 24 hours.
Tomatoes should feel dry and slightly pliable. Tomatoes should have no sign of moisture when broken apart.
