Here is an example taken out of the Good4U manual and the Excalibur- In this example the Good4u even copies the page that tells the customer to consult with the Preserve it Naturally book for more details – Preserve it Naturally is written and distributed by Excalibur -- Every page commits the same violation - here is just one example:

These issues alone justify legal action. I hope these examples help to clarify our position and show you exactly why we have an issue with THIS particular dehydrator.
We are not trying to stifle competition, as there are many dehydrators on the market. However, we rightly take offense when someone is trying to pass off OUR hard work as their own.
We have been in business over 35 years and have seen products like this come and go. They try to jump in and make a quick buck - then are not around to handle the warranty and unfortunately the consumer is usually the one left hanging.
I personally wrote to all of our Dealers and retailers detailing the ways in which the China Unit infringes upon the Excalibur as some of them were unaware of the issues. It was wonderful to receive such support from our customers and retailers regarding this issue --
Many of our dealers were unaware and did not want to support this type of DISHONEST business practice. Unfortunately, in the name of the all mighty dollar, there are some that simply do not care if our work was copied. We are pursuing legal claims against the manufacturer and the people promoting the China Unit; however this takes time. The bottom line is when you purchase a product, you support that product with your dollars. What type of business do you want to support with your hard earned dollars?
